bibliotheca was formed in the spring of 2011 when the three leading independent companies of bibliotheca (Switzerland), Intellident (UK) and Integrated Technology Group, ITG (North America) merged to create a single, global entity. In January of 2012, the Group was extended further with the acquisition of Trion AG, one of Europe’s leading AMH suppliers.
More recently, in October 2015, the Group was extended further when their shareholders (OEP) acquired in full the 3M Library Systems business, with the intention to create a single library-focused business dedicated to the delivery and support of EM/RFID security, Automated Materials Handling, self-service, productivity and digital/cloud (patron-facing) solutions.

Our company, which started its activities in Istanbul Kadıköy and is still in Üsküdar has now around 200 libraries, museums and archives with Library Automation, UHF RFID Smart Library System, UHF RFID Supported Integrated Museum Automation, Digital Media Archive Automation and consumables in Turkey and abroad. They can be found both at public and private universities, as well as at state institutions.
With the research and development unit, which has been established in parallel with the developing technology, being produced by a limited number of companies in the world, it has been produced in Turkey with domestic facilities in the field of sector-oriented use. In this way, the contribution of the country’s economy, as well as imports of related products from abroad, has decreased considerably.
